From the organizers: “Join us for a 15 mile ride to get-to-know Lexington. This is a no-drop ride, riding at an average 10 mph pace. The ride is for riders new to riding in groups as well as experienced riders who want to ride on roads & paths they might never have tried before. There are some hills on the ride so be prepared! It is recommended to walk your bike in two spots; some of the bike paths are not paved. Also, there is a “bail-out” in the middle of the ride, if you decide you’ve had enough.
We will be joined by riders from the Friends of the Lexington Bikeway/Bike Lexington.
The Ride with GPS file will be emailed to you before the ride. Cue sheet/Map will be available at the ride.
Ride meets at the Minuteman statue in the town center. We will use roads and bike paths to meander around Lexington. We’ll stop at Battle Road Bikes near the finish for apple cider. We will finish at the Visitor’s center at the Depot.”
